The position of Kids Games 2019 Camp & Programs Director is a part-time position starting May 1st, with full-time expectations from July 2nd to August 12th. During the part-time period, He or she is responsible for the recruitment and training of camp staff and LITs; lending administrative support where needed; communicating with parents (guardians), campers and staff; and overseeing the plans for electives and all camp programing. This is a leadership position that will shape our summer experience for campers, families, camp staff and LITs during our Kids Games 2019 camp weeks.
In conjunction with the SCC staff, the camp director will ensure the effective operation of all camp programs on a day-to-day basis during the full-time period. He or she will be responsible for the supervision and ongoing training of volunteers, camp staff and LITs; the implementation and upholding of safe practices to ensure camper and staff safety before, during and after camp hours; the successful coordination and managing of camp electives, activities and care programs; overseeing the three Family BBQ Celebration days to close each camp week.
